Fire Puja & Kirtan
Fire Puja
Fire Puja held every morning according to the tradition. This ancient ritual performed in Sanskrit mantras from the oldest veda ‘Rigveda’. This practice purifies the air and surrounding and neutralizes the negative energy and intersifies the ‘prana’ and positive energy.
Om vakratunda maha kaya surya koti samaprabha
Nirvighnam kuru me dev sarvkaryeshu sarvada.
(O god with the twisted trunk, broad bodied, brilliant as thousand suns, bless me with freedom from obstructions and hindrances in all my works and for all times.)
Kirtan
Kirtan in Sanskrit word that means ‘narrating’, reciting. It is the chanting of names of God or archrtypes. It is a melodies practice that encourages the surrender of the ego. In kirtan no previous experience or good voice is needed as it’s a practice of devotion.
