Yoga is usually translated from the Sanskrit as meaning ‘Union’ the union of the body, mind and spirit, as well as the union of the individual psyche with the transcendental self. There are several aspects of yoga and Hatha yoga is one of them. The term ‘Asana’ is the second step after satkarma and before pranayama. In Sanskrit Asana means the posture held in stillness (a mental & physical calm or lack of strain). The system of asanas makes us of physical postures to heal the body. They cultivate lightness, concentration and calm, deep rhythmic breathing and increased circulation of the blood and vital energy. This 4 days intensive yogasana technique course gives you an opportunity to learn the right techniques of asana, how to connect with your physical body and which asana you must practice daily in your busy schedule. Note: It is advised that you arrive at the ashram one day before the course starts.
