Know About Diksha Ji
Diksha Ji is an International yoga teacher
Having being born and raised in Indian traditional Hindu family where she gained the knowledge of Indian traditions as a part of his life. Diksha was born in 1994; she grew up in the family of social workers, so from a very young age she connected with the society who was in the need. Her parents lived in a very small village of Northern India, where she gives up in a simple way; she began her school in town Haridwar where at the age of 9 she met Swami Amlanand. She had Desire to learn traditional Yoga from him one day and her desire turn into real. When she got the opportunity to lived in his ashram at her age of 18.
She began her spiritual & transformational journey with the guidance of Swami Amlanand. She practiced different traditional paths of yoga & learned the lessons of ancient scripture from him. The ashram was at the banks of sacred river Ganga, which was the place for self practice of Japa & chanting for Diksha.
Life in Ashram
In 2012, Diksha moved to Tripura Yogashram in Haridwar at the banks of sacred river Ganga. She started to practice the traditional paths of yoga with other students in the ashram. There were strict rules to follow and learn the discipline. Swami Amlanand, an Indian monk and the founder of Tripura Yogashram was the guru for the disciples in the ashram. His teachings were unique and very clear which was the best way for self realization. There was a routine from morning to evening in the ashram where each hour was learning. Diksha followed all the daily routine from morning prayer to evening Sanskrit class with Gurudev, she was involving in all ashram’s activities such as cooking satvik food in the kitchen, cleaning the rooms, fire pooja/ chanting and self practice of Japa. Hatha yoga classes were taught by Guru ji. Each and every spiritual practice in the ashram has a meaning in life as “Yoga is the way of living” two years of her spiritual practice under Guru ji’s guidance brought her to Rishikesh in 2014 for 200 hours YTT on his advice.
